ICAWN’s 2nd ANNUAL WOMEN EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE AND EXPO

This weekend, on April 12, 2014, a group of beautiful and powerful thinkers will converge at the Sofitel Miami Luxury Hotel in Miami, Florida for the second annual International Creative Arts Women’s Network (ICAWN) Women Empowerment Conference and Expo. It is chocked up to be one of the most exciting moments of the year for the fledgling organization that is making great strides and already garnering a name among the who’s who of women’s network in the region. The organization, under the guidance of Founder and CEO, Corhinn Brunot and COO Karine Melissa (CEO of Fashion Designers Expo Florida, I HEART Fashion I HEART Kids, and non-profit organization “Let the Runway Meet the Cause”), is comprised of women entrepreneurs with diverse backgrounds and representing different business arenas.

The annual ICAWN event serves as a platform to allow small business women to expose their brand to the general public. This year I have been extended the honor of guest speaking at this phenomenal event, alongside two power magnets in their own rights; Christina Duren, Founder of The Beautiful Brown Girls Brunch Club (BBGBC), which is a national monthly brunch soiree for African American women to connect and build long lasting friendships, and business success story Leanna Archer, CEO of Leanna’s Inc., which is a successful hair care products enterprise that yields over $3.2 million in revenues per year.

I will have the opportunity to challenge my fellow sisters in the areas of business development and sustainability. As always, my presentation will bear the signature of the vision that is at the core of the Building According To Pattern brand; i.e., “Empowering others to discover and build their lives according to their own unique design and in sync with kingdom-centered patterns and principles that guarantee true success”. Food for the mind and the spirit! The topic: “Stuck In Construction Mode? Let Me Help You Girlfriend”, will be just what the doctor ordered to catapult my sisters into achieving even greater success as they “Embrace (Their) Success Fearlessly”.
