Find Your Life’s Blue-Print And Build Baby!

The honey bee is a fascinating little creature, measuring no more than 1/2 to 5/8 of an inch, and weighing 155 to 200 mg; a mere fraction of an ounce. A bee’s brain is a fraction of the size of its head. It has five eyes; three simple eyes and two compound eyes. The compound eyes are each made of approximately 150 repeating eye parts called ommatidia, which specialize in seeing or visualizing patterns. Because of this unique capacity to visualize patterns, bees have the uncanny ability to construct a nest or hive that is composed of multiple honey combs comprised of perfect hexagonal cells that are uniform in size, and which run parallel to each other. Almost immediately you can observe a pattern emerging from the connectedness of each cell.

As small and as seemingly insignificant these creatures are, they have somehow managed to master the art of building their lives according to an established pattern. The humble and possibly for us, inconsequential honey bee, has discovered the secret to ensuring the survival and continuation of its specie, and for as long as it has been on the planet, it has consistently adhered to this pattern of doing things. These creatures have learnt the art of building their homes according to their own natural, instinctive design; a design that has been etched in their DNA by the Master Designer Himself. The very same Designer that designed and constructed your life.

Bee keepers and enthusiasts alike will tell you that no matter what foundation is installed in an artificial or man-made bee hive, the bees will build their combs in a particular manner and may often times ignore the man-made foundation if it does not fit their natural design. The best approach, according to bee keepers, is to let the bees do their own thing. Let them do what comes naturally to them. In those instances in which man-made foundations are adopted by a bee colony, the foundations are generally almost an exact replica of what the bees would naturally establish on their own.

How about I shift the conversation away from honey-bees to have you consider the following questions. What pattern, plan, dream, or vision have you been seeking to work with, implement, or execute that has absolutely nothing to do with your own unique design? What have you been trying to make fit into your world or what have you been seeking to conform to that is simply incurring you more frustration and pain, rather than the success you were meant to have? Could it be that you’re seeking to invent your own foundation, your own idea of what’s right or wrong? Could it be that your sight is so limited that you are in full pursuit of a pathway or pattern that was never designed for you to travel or build your life by? Could it be that you are trying to live someone else’s life? Is it at all possible that you have convinced yourself that your way, the way you have chosen to live your life is the best;even if it stands in absolute contrast to the pattern established by your Master Designer? How is that working out for you?

For you to have good success, your pursuits must be driven by what is written in your DNA; the inbuilt pattern for your life. Your pursuits must be co-signed by your Master Manufacturer. In-fact, if your plans are to ever succeed in a timely manner and remain on course, here is some advice; get God on-board and get Him on-board quickly!

The following are three important keys detailed in your Manual for Living that, if you choose to subscribe to, will ensure that you follow the path that was designed to launch you into fulfillment of your destiny.

1. “If God doesn’t build the house, the builders only build shacks. If God doesn’t guard the city, the night watchman might as well nap. It’s useless to rise early and go to bed late, and work your worried fingers to the bone. Don’t you know He enjoys giving rest to those he loves?” (Psalms 127:1-2). If the Master Designer is not apart of your plans and if you are not busy executing His plans for your life, that is, your purpose, you are simply wasting time trying to execute your own scribbles.

2. “If you’ll willingly obey, you’ll feast like kings. But if you’re willful and stubborn, you’ll die like dogs” (Isaiah 1:19). Obedience to the word of Master Designer is going to prove an invaluable asset to your life. It will be a challenge, but if you want good success and His blessings on your life, you are going to have to make the decision to obey His instructions. If not, you are going to eventually malfunction or under function.

3. “Then God began to speak directly to all the people. I am the Eternal your God. I led you out of Egypt and liberated you from lives of slavery and oppression. You are not to serve any other gods before Me” (Exodus 20:1-3). The Master Designer requires, demands, commands, and expects us to hold Him in the highest regard that we even bypass our desires in order to please Him. His caveat is, I will bless you, but you must honor me above all.

If you are going to build your lives according to the Master Designer’s blue-print and do so successfully, you are going to have to love Him enough to serve Him only. When you do, He has no choice but to cause His blessings to run after you.
